Developed a high-performance Rust API layer integrating multiple institutional banking systems. Designed a synchronization engine to maintain consistent state between external banking APIs and internal exchange services.
Implemented a Rust-based REST gateway providing secure access to internal services via JWT-based authentication. Built a custom middleware for intelligent request routing and load redistribution, improving traffic scalability and reducing latency under high concurrency.
Directly managed junior frontend engineer, establishing coding standards and review processes.
Led the development of a high-performance trading client application using React and WebSocket technology. Built a real-time trading interface featuring live orderbook updates, trade history, and order placement functionality.

Junior Frontend Engineer, D2X Group

Amsterdam, North Holland (NL) | July 2022 - July 2024

Architected and implemented a secure multi-tenant web app for institutional clients using Next.js. Designed a network-isolated application with granular control over exchange operations. Integrated SSO authentication and role-based access control using JWT. The app passed rigorous third-party penetration testing and now serves top-tier trading firms (+10).
Co-designed and implemented a complex multi-schema relational database for the exchange using PostgreSQL. Contributed to a database architecture spanning 9+ schemas and 500+ tables. Engineered a custom blackbox testing tool in TypeScript, enabling over 1200 automated tests.
